The Alien Framed Staple is made with 6 pieces of ribbon framed with round wire, then wrapped with a wavy "alien" fuse.
This build has one of the best wicking capabilities out of all the types of coils out there, and the ribbon inside gives your juice a more crisp flavor.
A personal favourite of mine, I use these in dual coil and single coil/squonk mode, and get amazing flavour and clouds every time.
